What is Kid's Wings?

Kid's Wings is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in SE Michigan that provides free flights to those in financial and medical need of transportation to, from, or through this area for treatment.

Flights are provided in small, privately owned or leased aircraft at no cost to the recipient.  Our focus is on children but the service is available to all who meet the requirements, regardless of age.

What types of missions are flown?

Medical Missions to enable people to reach distant medical facilities for treatment.  This includes those who cannot travel on commercial aircraft due to time or medical conditions. Examples include immune system deficiency dictating avoidance of crowds, or frequent trips for treatment which would be financially difficult for the client to afford.

Transplant flights to provide time critical air transportation for organ recipients

Public Benefit Flights include humanitarian missions, homeland security support and other missions deemed to be within the mission of Kid's Wings
